This product arrived cracked and with scratches and dirt in multiple places (see first two pictures). Some of the materials were good quality (the hinges, the magnet is nice and strong, the particleboard top shelf) like I’d expect for an item this price, but other materials were shockingly cheap (the plastic middle shelf, the front door portion). It’s a very odd mix of decent, sturdy materials right next to bottom of the barrel stuff. I did appreciate that they included one extra of each type of screw you needed for assembly, and the instructions for assembly were straightforward and to the point. I needed a second person to hold something upright for exactly 15 seconds - other than that, I put this together myself in less than 20 minutes. Easy peasy. The final screws were a little tight to maneuver around (see third picture).I’m disappointed about the shoddy materials (some of which arrived broken) but I’m not going to get precious about it. After all, it’s a box meant to hide my cat while she’s peeing. I do not for a second believe their claim that the shelf can support 170 lbs and will not be testing it. That being said, my cat was already curious about it and trying to play peek-a-boo with the door while I was assembling it, so she likes it at least!I ordered this nightstand with the Arm and Hammer sifting litter box to make sure it would fit underneath. All the products work well but my cats are large and have a hard time fitting in the litter box and one cat (heavier than average) cannot fit under at all. I imagine it would work well if my cats were a little smaller so I don't blame the product. This is exactly what I was in need of. It's a good size and not that hard to put together. But then again I enjoy building ikea furniture. I only suggest be careful of the seam around the top table portion. I didn't not pat attention when I was assembling and the seam is in the front. Not terribly noticeable so it will do, being pressed wood I don't want to remove the screws to turn it the other way. But it seems pretty sturdy and durable. The only thing that was already attached and you don’t have to assemble yourself is the magnetic door. The hinges fell off almost immediately and the magnet that’s supposed to hold the door when you open it also fell. I can glue everything back, but it’s frustrating that these all fell off the first and second dayWhile this was easy to put together and fits the need; it's rather flimsy and doesn't fit together perfectly. The top piece won't lay flat on ours and the magnet will not hold the door flap open. This is worth about half the cost they are selling it for; it's not very substantial or sturdy for the costI debated whether to purchase this item due to a few negative reviews, but I decided to take a chance. The enclosure was super easy to put together, a total of 12 screws - everything else slides into place. Super easy, took me 15 mins max. Enclosure even fit over the top of my Breeze cat box, which I was worried wouldn’t fit. Since the side door flips up, I can easily change out the Breeze pad. I have two cats, one of which is huge, so we’ll see how he does. But he likes small spaces, so fingers crossed. The extra table top now provides more counter space in my bathroom. I purchased some baskets/decor to hide additional bathroom clutter and the Breeze pads on the bottom shelf. This looks really nice but there are several things that I don't like. First and mostly - it's been impossible to find a litter box that will work with it. The opening is so small that the litter box has to have one side with a cut out or dip down - otherwise the cats cannot climb in. Also, it has to be a smaller litterbox than I use which doesn't work for my cats. Also it came in a TON of pieces which was annoying to put together. I don't even use this - I'd return it but it would be impossible to take apart and fit back in the box. So it sits unused in the closet.I bought this because i liked the two shelves. It didn't come with the top one.So it's cute but instructions are bad they tell you you don't need a drill gun but YES, yes you do....so since i don't have a drill gun and it's absolutely impossible to screw in the screws by hand to the wooden table top. There are no holes in the wooden part and even screwing the screws into the plastic proved challenging and couldn't go in all the way so now the table just sits at the top and it can got knocked off at any time! As for the cat using it I don't know yet he seems interested have yet to use it as I'm preparing for a new kitten and this litter box house is for the kitten. The panel has cracks and breakage
