Material is quite thick but fit is not bulky. Washes well and husband very pleased. Note- these shorts are very thick - not warm weather weight! - but comfortable in cooler environment. Wish this brand offered free Prime shipping but shipping was fairly quick and, overall, would recommend. Bought 4XL.Found these shorts at the same time I retired. Perfect timing. Bought 4 pair.
